The sheer number of plugins listed in the WordPress Plugin Index can be daunting.  I also have to admit that programmers of different skill-levels can contribute, so I’ve encountered a buggy or poorly written plugin on occasion.  Here are reviews of some favorite plugins by a Lithuanian blogger.  It has a business and entrepreneurial focus, but there are certainly some plugins which are good no matter what the focus.

I just updated my blogroll to include all the folks who added me as a member of their sites.   I don’t have any record of the sites of people who didn’t add me.  Let me know if you’re not in the blogroll, but wish to be.

I also updated the Categories to group some of the areas of interest with regard to blogs and libraries.  I will continue to expand on this an post information that I discover on these topics.  Please participate if you have anything to share!

Comment Combing

March 28, 2007

I believe Adrienne asked yesterday how we might go about locating trusted bloggers. It’s a very good question and one that has several answers. While there are blog indexes that I mentioned, such as Technorati and 9rules, we can also comb the comments of trusted bloggers. Bloggers often leave a URL link attached to their comments. If someone leaves thought provoking comments on a site I like, I have a good idea that their own blog may be interesting as well.
